I can offer either home or supported hospital birth, antenatal and postnatal care, breastfeeding support, and a debriefing service for women who have suffered trauma from previous births. All your care options can be personalised, to meet your particular needs.

Home Birth

If you choose to join the free home birth scheme in Cork, I will be looking after you all the way through your pregnancy, the birth, and for two weeks afterwards. I am also working through Private Midwives Ireland, if you are not eligible for the HSE scheme we can discuss your other options, as there are various packages available at different costs.

Hospital Birth

If you are looking for a middle path, a supported hospital birth may be the solution for you. You can have your pregnancy and postnatal care with me, and I can accompany you to the hospital when the time comes. I can stay with your during the labour and birth, and provide support and advice.

Birth Planning

If you need assistance with planning your birth, I can help you with advice and resources to make this easier, as well as answering all your questions about birth. It’s hard to know what to expect from labour and birth especially if you’re a first-time mum, and it can help to talk it through with a professional.

Birth Debriefing

I offer a birth debriefing service, for women who have suffered a previous difficult birth. We can sit down and look through your birth notes together and talk about your birth. Working out what you weren’t happy with last time can help you with planning your next birth.
