Postnatal Care for New Mums

I often think that after the baby is born, women leave the hospital without really knowing what to expect, or how they are going to cope. Not everyone has close family living near them, or a supportive community to step in and help out. In the early days, mums might feel very lonely, and unsure of where to turn for a non-judgemental chat, especially when partners return to work.

What is often needed is time to talk through any concerns and problems you have, with someone who can answer all your questions, and also keep an eye on baby’s development and growth, as well as providing support with feeding and other issues. My care is individualised to you, as everyone is different, your needs are unique.

My clients know that I’m always available to them, and happy to answer any questions they have. When our time together finishes, I will signpost you to local groups and websites that can be useful in making long-term connections so you feel supported.
